ACCUBRACE SHORING, LLC offers a broad range of braces as to length and load capacity. Brace products are stockpiled at the different regional offices but can be transported to job sites in short time periods. With adequate advance notice, custom braces can also be designed and manufactured to meet project applications. Note that all information contained in this brace section is intended for preliminary design and cost estimating purposes only. Final Design by a qualified professional is required. As noted above, the product line of braces covers a broad range of brace lengths and brace load capacity in order to permit the user great flexibility toward meeting project requirements. A number of these brace product options have higher working load capacities. Selecting higher working load capacity braces will permit an increase in the brace spacing (S), and thus a reduction in the number of braces required for the project. Further savings are achieved due to the reduction in the field time to install the braces. Helical Ground Anchors

The use of helical ground anchors to provide ground support for braces for tilt-up slabs and pre-cast walls is a growing trend within the construction industry. Among the reasons for this trend are:

  • Rapid installation and ability to immediately load the ground anchor.
  • Ability to remove and relocate ground anchors if installation of braces should require adjustments.
  • Flexibility of locating anchors on inside or outside of wall to be braced.
  • Outside placement of ground anchor braces for taller walls, when interior building dimensions will not permit use of slab connectors.

Connector Brackets and Shoes

ACCUBRACE SHORING, LLC also provides hardware connectors for both braces and helical ground anchors. These connectors serve as a load transfer mechanism for either transferring the wall load to the brace or the brace load to the concrete slab, concrete dead man, or helical ground anchor. Such connectors form an integral part of the total bracing system. All ACCUBRACE supplied hardware connectors are rated at a working load to provide a minimum Factor of Safety of 2.0 with respect to their ultimate load capacity.
